kelly mason
Kelly has been at his craft for 24 yrs. Owning a salon in Knoxville for 6 years and then moving to Nashville and making Nashville home. Opening the first Green Pea Salon in 2007 and the second location in 2015, he has attracted an amazing team that is dedicated to customizing the most up to date styles for every client. A proud Nashvillian who gains inspiration from the vibrant city in which he lives.
jen maselli-deaderick
Jen started her career in 2001. She serves a wide range of clientele including work in the entertainment industry. She prides herself on listening and consulting to achieve results unique to the individual. The Nashville Scene dubbed her "Nashville's Best Stylist" in 2006 and "Best Hair Stylist" in 2009. She has continued to further her education attending classes at Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica and becoming a Network Educator for Bumble and Bumble in New York.
mindy reeble
Mindy joined the styling industry in 2004 and has since grown a loyal and loving client base in the Chicagoland area. After a decade of service, she decided to make a change and let her craft flourish in a new and exciting place. Now Mindy and her bulldog, Ruby, are based in Nashville and ready to build a new life alongside a community they respect and adore. Her goal is to make beauty accessible, and she strives to provide her clients with cuts and coloring that are dynamic yet easy to manage. Always eager to learn and sharpen her skills, Mindy has attended educational sessions from Bumble and Bumble and Redken around the US. Outside of the salon, her favorite place to be is the flea-market or digging deep at an estate sale.
forest bauer
Forest has a natural eye for color and a deep understanding of color theory. As a colorist for over five years, he has a special eye for highlighting and blondes. Forest also has a keen attention for detail when it comes to cutting hair both long and short. He has trained with several brands including Paul Mitchell, L’Oreal, Davines, and Kevin Murphy. Forest is dedicated to his craft and works daily to hone his skills while focusing on providing a great personally tailored experience.
samantha thereau
Samantha is a Florida native who after doing hair in Chicago for 5 years recently moved to Nashville to share her love of modern cuts and vintage silhouettes. With a strong background in precision cutting, trained by former Vidal Sasson alumni, Samantha is able to bring to life classic shapes with creative twists. Suitability and effortless healthy hair is the goal. She can teach you how to love your natural texture and give a beautiful blowout. Making sure each client looks and feels their best, leaving with a great cut and the education to be able to recreate at home with ease. You can catch her enjoying a cold brew and listening to records or watching antiques road show in her free time.
kip abernathy
A Nashville native who has been a stylist for over 14 years. Kip has worked successfully with brands Redken, Davines, Aveda and Schwarzkopf and specializes in natural hand painted highlights. Kip is also a master with short female cuts, but also loves working with many different lengths. Kip's experience ranges from styling runway shows to designing unique looks for his dedicated clientele.

With 18 years in the industry, Craig brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Green Pea Salon. He is an expert colorist, stylist, and make-up artist. He also brings an advanced knowledge of barbering and beard work with him. Craig maintains clients in the music industry around Nashville and across the country. Having been an educator as well as being featured in photographic art shows, New York Fashion Week, and many editorial magazines, he is extremely well-rounded in making you look your best. He is passionate about his clients having the knowledge to maintain what is achieved in the salon. He is also the proud dad of the sweetest pit bull in Nashville.

Heather is a native Nashvillian and has been in the business since 2003. Her interest in the beauty industry was sparked after coloring her hair violet for an assignment in college. Heather prides herself in creating a look that is tailored to each client. She specializes in color and color corrections. She has been trained in Goldwell and used this color line for over nine years. Heather has also trained with bumble and bumble, shu uemera, Kerastase, and Kevin Murphy. In her spare time she loves to travel, read and spend time outside with her family.
missy may
I’m a native Nashvillian, never met a stranger! Loving mother to two little angels, a loyal friend, committed to enhancing the lives and encouraging the success of those around me. I’m a color specialist, skilled in a variety of color lines. I specialize in cutting edge coloring techniques, multi-dimensional color, highlights, lowlights, color correction, gray reduction, and custom blending. I am also a certified practitioner of the Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy system, an amazing treatment that smoothes and reduces frizz, leaving hair silky and shiny. I'd like to think of myself as a blonde specialist. I do love my reds too!! Known for my long layered cuts and volumizing blowouts!!

garry nelson
Originally from Kentucky, Garry relocated to Nashville in 2008 to start his career as a stylist. After a few years as a stylist he chose Green Pea as the salon to grow his business in and call home for his professional life. Garry has a passion for art, style, hair, and fashion. He loves a challenge and will always find the perfect color for his guests to enhance their lifestyle. Garry has an insatiable thirst for education and advanced techniques, he spends his free time researching new ways to achieve better results. He loves to introduce guests to the art of balayage color painting, a color technique he has honed as an artist. Since becoming a Nashvillian in 2003, Adam Barnes has teased and sprayed stars from stage and screen, owned and branded his own salon, and realized a deep devotion for being an educator. He has enjoyed extensive training with companies like Bumble and bumble, Davines, Vidal Sassoon and Great Lengths to create his comfortable and entertaining style he likes to call, “hairapy”. Looking for a quirky showman with precision cutting skills and beautiful color work? Special event hair or creative looks for photo shoots? Men’s barbering with fades? Crystal was named “Nashville Best Hair Stylist “ in 2014 by the Nashville Scene writers. She's been working in the industry since 2003. Moving from the Chicagoland area in 2008, Crystal has made Nashville her home with her husband and chihuahuas. Crystal has worked with Aveda for 15 years and has been an educational director for up and coming talent. Crystal is thrilled to work along side the creative stylists at Green Pea Salon. Crystal keeps her guests looking and feeling current with hair color trends and help them to maintain their look at home with educating them with home-care and styling tips.
matt smith
Matt began his career with Aveda in 2006. Considered a blonde specialist and is platinum certified in tape-in extensions, he's a constant learner -- a new color technique, haircut and simply maintaining his knowledge of the fundamentals, it's important to him to always remain fresh with a thirst for knowledge. Fascinated by hair styles and color is what brought him into the industry, but working intimately with each client his interest turned in to much more than that- helping people feel their best everyday-- became his passion. Matt loves working with the red color spectrums, creating the perfect look for the big day for brides and has been a lead stylist at New York Fashion Week since 2010.
kelsea whitley
A Nashville native, Kelsea has been a professional stylist in the hair industry since 2010. Earning her education from Paul Mitchell The School, Nashville’s premier Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nails beauty school, Kelsea initially pursued her career at Aveda where she spent seven years perfecting her craft. Now a Green Pea stylist and colorist, Kelsea is an expert with Kevin Murphy and Bumble and Bumble’s respective product lines, specializing in Davines color. Tailoring her services for each client’s unique needs with custom cuts and color, and offering Brazilian Blowouts, Kelsea’s passion for her profession is evident with the time and care she devotes to each of her clients.

Our Covid Precautions
We are open for business and following all of the State Salon Board and CDCs Requirements and best practices. Salons are currently open at 75% occupancy capacity in Nashville. Temperatures are being checked of all employees and clients at the door, masks must be worn at all times. Our waiting room is closed, please call the Salon when you arrive for your appointment to help us monitor occupancy.
